Jessica is a Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution Team who recently qualified in September 2024. Jessica deals with general litigation and Dispute Resolution matters as well as specialising in Contentious Probate matters.
Jessica graduated from Nottingham Trent University with High 2:1 Law Honours degree in 2018. Jessica then went on to graduate from Nottingham Law School in 2019 with a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course and accompanying Masters Degree.
Jessica first joined BTMK in 2020 as a Paralegal in our Private Client Department assisting in our Leigh-on-Sea office. Jessica has experience dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Deeds of Variation, Trusts, Court of Protection matters and Contentious Probate matters. In September 2022, Jessica began her training contract with BTMK and continued to assist in our Private Client Department.
In September 2023, Jessica joined our Dispute Resolution Team in our Rayleigh office and has now successfully qualified into this department, where she will continue to work. Jessica has experience in general litigation such as Landlord and Tenant disputes and breach of contract claims
Jessica regularly acts in Contentious Probate disputes, such as contesting a Will, the removal of Executors, inheritance disputes and any litigation involving Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney. This includes advice on the mental capacity, undue influence and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
In Jessica’s spare time she enjoys socialising, attending the theatre and reading.
