Yvonne is a Director at BTMK. She qualified as a Solicitor in December 1997 and has specialised in Family Law ever since. Yvonne has additional qualifications as an accredited Children Pan Member and an accredited member of the Law Society’s Family Panel, specialising in Private Children Law and Domestic Violence issues. Yvonne has extensive experience in all aspects of family law, specialising in the representation of children and parents in care proceedings.
Yvonne has a sympathetic and friendly manner but it able to be firm and discuss distressing issues with clients. She always has regard for the impact on the client of how advice is given. Yvonne’s caseload is, almost exclusively, from existing clients and referrals from previous clients. Yvonne undertakes advocacy, representing clients at court from the first hearing through to contested final hearings. This provides clients with a continuity of representation.
Most of Yvonne’s work is centred in the Family Courts in Essex but work is also carried out in the London based courts and the High Courts too. Yvonne has excellent organisational and communication skills. She prides herself on providing an efficient, personal service to all clients.
